My cooperative-education degree in mechatronics, together with Continental. My entry into engineering and industry.
01Preliminary internship
Before my studies I did a preliminary internship in the training workshop - metalworking, CNC, welding, robot and PLC programming, electrics.
02Manufacturing engineering
I worked mostly in manufacturing and production planning on optimization projects with 3D-CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and rotated through production planning, production, electrical and mechanical maintenance, quality management and logistics.
03A few months in the USA
I spent two to three months in Asheville, North Carolina, developing a flexible, automated cleaning station for different brake-caliper housings - and getting to know the American way of living and working. A great time.
