Race cars were my way into real engineering.
01FaSTDa - Formula Student
With FaSTDa - Darmstadt UAS's Formula Student team - I developed and FEA-optimized a lightweight wheel carrier for the 'F13' race car. We successfully tested it in Hockenheim and Italy in front of seasoned motorsport engineers.
02STEP-1 hill-climb prototype
Later I supported the STEP-1 hill-climb racing prototype (around Michael Kerber / Audi) in preparation (mechanics) and operation (mechanics, video) - including a track record at the Bilster Berg Drive Resort in 2016, working shoulder to shoulder with professional motorsport engineers.
